Our take
I bought this hex dumbbell set for home workouts and it's been a great addition. Having three different weights in one set is convenient – I can progress from 3 to 5 to 8 lb as I get stronger. The PVC coating helps protect floors and feels comfortable. The hex shape prevents rolling, which I appreciate. The rack keeps everything organized. However, the rack is plastic and feels a bit flimsy but holds the weights fine. The coating on some dumbbells started to peel after a few months of heavy use. Still, for the price and variety, it's a solid buy for home gym beginners.
